At JC Hetz Studio, we are dedicated to providing the highest level of quality and craftsmanship in custom paint, graphics, and pinstriping. Our studio is owned and operated by Jim and Chris Hetzler, and we are a full-service custom paint, graphics, and pinstriping shop. Jim has been pinstriping and custom painting for over 40 years and takes every opportunity he gets to educate himself on the latest and greatest techniques for custom paint effects and pinstriping techniques.

Jim and Chris both have Bachelor Degrees in International Business Administration with Jim's emphasis on Marketing and Chris' emphasis on Marketing and Finance. This combination of skills and experience allows us to not only provide top-quality custom paint and graphic services but also to manage our business efficiently and effectively.

Our studio proudly uses House of Kolor paint, SATA 4000 paint guns, SATAgraph4 airbrushes, IWATA airbrushes, and MACK pinstriping and lettering brushes for all custom paint and graphic projects. This allows us to bring you the highest quality and best materials available in the custom paint world. Jim continuously works with the chemists at House of Kolor to help develop the best paint available, and he is a showcase artist for House of Kolor paint. He has displayed his work in their trade show booths and makes an annual appearance in the House of Kolor booth at SEMA as a showcase artist, demonstrating his unique skills and has achieved the honor of two Prestigious Painter Awards.

As a world-class custom painter and artist, Jim has appeared in many magazines and publications such as AutoArt Magazine, Airbrush Action Magazine, Autobody News, Street Rodder, Rod and Custom, Hot Bike, American Iron, and many more too numerous to mention. You might also catch Jim on a TV show; he has recently appeared on West Coast Customs. Jim has also received many awards and is highly recognized in the world of custom automotive and motorcycle paint from simple paint jobs to the most elaborate airbrush work. You name it, Jim can deliver.

Pinstriping & Lettering

Jim has been freehand pinstriping and lettering for over 40 years. Although he specializes in street rods and motorcycles, he also pinstripes many other items such as motorcycle horn covers for Chrome Dome MC, antique motorcycle restorations for the National Motorcycle Museum, and much more. Jim is dedicated to providing the highest level of quality and craftsmanship in all of his pinstriping and lettering projects.

Airbrush

Jim has been airbrushing for 35 years and his projects include everything from the smallest motorcycle to the largest 53' Iowa Football Tractor and Trailer to the most elaborate Vietnam tribute motorcycle and everything in between. Jim is dedicated to providing the highest level of quality and craftsmanship in all of his airbrush projects.

Custom Paint

Jim combines SATA Spray Gun technology with House of Kolor Paint to achieve the highest level of quality available for your specific project. The right custom paint job will make your ride stand out.
