Our Story
American Signs was founded in 1949 by three sign painter/partners, Frank Bonnecarrere, Henry Bartlett, and Andrew Flores. Over the years, the company has evolved to keep pace with the latest advancements in signage technology. In 1978, Steve Serpas joined the company as an apprentice and later became the owner in 1986. Under Steve's leadership, American Signs has continued to thrive, adapting to the changing landscape of the sign industry. Today, we are proud to be a leading signage company in the New Orleans area, serving businesses of all sizes and industries.
