Our Story
Fru-Art Company was established in 1955 by twin brothers Roy and Ray Fruit. The company was founded in a small barn in Dekalb, where the brothers would nail up samples of their work to keep out the cold winds. With a rent of just $15 per month, the brothers worked tirelessly to build their business, which quickly gained momentum. After serving in the Korean War, Roy and Ray returned to their business, securing a lucrative contract with the Air Force, which enabled them to expand their operations. Over the years, the company has continued to grow, with Ray's son, Kevin Fruit, taking over the reins. Today, Fru-Art Company is the longest-running silk screen business in the Atlanta area, with a reputation for excellence and commitment to customer satisfaction.
